Chilly is known as “Mirchi” in India. Chilly is used to enhance the pungent taste of food. India is the largest producer and consumer of Chilly in the world. The major Chilly producing states of India are Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. We have Chilly with Stem, Chilly Stemless, and Byadgi Chilly.

The chilies are most commonly either red chili peppers or cayenne peppers, which are both of the species Capsicum annuum. Chili powder blends are especially popular in American cuisine, where they are the primary flavor ingredient in chili con carne.
